Torre De Barreda Tempranillo 2006 red wine is a magnificent and highly rated wine from Spain. It's an excellent Tempranillo with ripe and clean chunky red fruit but no overripeness or residual sweetness. It has an amazing concentration of red fruits, with a good backbone of tannin and acidity. With its 89 points rating, it is perfect with roast meats or stews, however this wine of great personality is perfect by itself. The special Tempranillo grapes from the Pago de Pancierto y Monte Alto vineyards are specially selected and vinified. After 4 months of aging in American and French oak barrels the Tempranillo is once again aged for 6 months in the bottle. It is recommended that you uncork the bottle 15 to 20 minutes before serving and decant the wine.
