It is a red that is wrapped in purplish hints. In the nose it feels powerful, broad with aromas reminiscent of ripe fruit, lacteal secondary aromas and spicy tertiary aromas of coffee and licorice. In the mouth is where Matarromera Prestigio 1999 excels. It is rich, fleshy, powerful and full of delightfully sweet tannins, which augur great lengths of aging and provide a long finish.
